I really can't remember the last time I've had the flu, but I apparently have it now :( Started getting it Friday night when I was driving back to NJ, and somehow managed to get back to IL on Saturday not feeling that sick. But today I feel like crap! Anyways, I've driven a grand 2100 miles in one week :), to NJ/NY and back, and it was LOTS of fun (minus the boring parts of driving back.. missed my friend Julie's company :( ) Alright.. the Fall break run down :)

Left Champaign-Urbana by 6am (cst), and drove up to NJ. On the way we stopped by and visited Julie's friend Ramona at Case Western Reserve Univ. That just set us back like 2 hours, and we reached up NJ at midnight (est, and all times will be est). My Uncle had went to the West Indian shop and bought lots of food, we had some before we went to bed, and then woke up at like 10 am the next day. Showers were in order while my Uncle and his wife went to bestbuy to return and lcd tv because it was broke, and apparently they got lost in bestbuy and took a few hours longer. Finally headed over to my cousin's Shal's place and she cooked us some good food, and also met up with Ray and Yasmine, two of my Uncle's kids... Thats how we got to Queen's... now onto what we did :)

Monday
• Went to see Statue of Liberty, but tickets to climb up the stairs were sold out, decided to go back early on Tuesday for tickets
• Walked through Chinatown and north bound to Times Square, I think we did reach up there
• Went to the Jewish Museum
• Went to Comic Strip Live which was pretty fun, then we went home

Tuesday
• Figured we'd rather enjoy a Broadway show, so ended up meeting my friend Jerry for lunch
• Then we walked around to go get tickets for the play Chicago, and en route saw the Hershey's at Times Square and had to stop by.
• Bought tickets for Chicago, and then headed over to Battery Park to go on the boat to go Liberty Island and Ellis Island
• It was sort of late, well the boats were nearing their end for the day, so we just watched it from the boat, and then got off at Ellis Island. Made it to the 3rd floor when they kicked me out. Then we went back to Manhattan via boat again
• Checked out Wall St for the fun of it, then the Empire State Building
• Then we rushed off to the play and reached a few minutes late :)
• The play Chicago was really cool, I enjoyed... still want to see a play with no singing though
• Then we headed home and hung out with Shal and then went to bed

Wednesday
• Dropped Julie off in the airport so she could go home, and then went to the city again, this time I had to park like 10 minutes away from the subway station :(
• Met up with my friend Dan from NJ who went to school at UIUC, and we walked around, had pizza for lunch, took in the incredibles, then he went home
• Then I met up with Dwain, friend from back in Trinidad for about 12 years, and we found some dinner, he showed me where he worked at Bear Stearns. It was pretty cool. Then we parted and I went up to Long Island

Found myself at my cousin's (Anisa) place at like 10pm, right in the middle of them doing whatever it is they had to do to the turkey. We talked for a bit and then I waited up till Angie came home and then went to bed

Then it was Thursday with Thanksgiving and all the cooking.. No I didn't cook, but they were, woke up at like 1030am and had breakfast, my Uncle from NJ had brought it over for us that morning. Then we had a fun day jus hanging out, playing cards, shooting pool, watching a movie later when Shal came over.

Then Friday we just hung out again :) My cousin Shal got a new car, Infiniti G35 coupe, with manual transmission :) She should have lots of fun with it :) Then we ordered like over a 100 dollars of chinese food, and we picked it up in a big box, then again it was to feed eleven people :) Then we left Long Island, headed up to my Uncle's place in NJ, woke up the next day and drove back to IL. And then I went to sleep and woke up today, on Sunday and felt worse! At least I got the take home midterm done...
